  • Sean O'Brien

    Sean O'Brien leads the Catalyst team as President and CEO for a total of 20+ years and loves the potential he sees in Catalyst’s future. Sean is active in the commercial furniture industry and invests time in Herman Miller’s Dealer Steering Council. Sean enjoys mentoring students from the University of Washington’s Sales Program within the School of Business. He is on the Tacoma Pierce County Economic Development Board and is a graduate of Gonzaga University. Sean has been married to his wife Jane for over 34 years and has three daughters. He enjoys time with his family at sunny destinations, playing golf and boating.

  • Christine Cason, CPA

    Christine has been with Catalyst for 32 years, our EVP of Finance for Catalyst since 2014, ensuring the strength and predictability of the company's financial performance. She is a CPA with a BS in Accounting. She is a trusted leader who is highly respected by our employees, vendors, financial partners, and peers across the Herman Miller Certified Dealer Network. Christine has been involved with the rotary for several years, has served the community in different areas, including the 'Read to Me Program' at a local elementary school and is an avid runner and biker.

    Don brings 30 years of industry experience to our team and has been the EVP of Sales at Catalyst for the past 20 years. Don's focus is on developing the knowledge, talent, and capabilities for making Catalyst a trusted partner for our customers. This partnership extends to design and construction professionals who share Catalyst’s passion for excellence. Don grew up in Eastgate, attended the University of Washington, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree. Don enjoys CrossFit, competing in the worldwide CrossFit Games in 2013, 2014. He also enjoys hiking and fly fishing with his wife and two children.

  • Ralph Willis

    Ralph began his career 35 years ago as an Installation Lead and has worked his way up through both Operation and Implementation roles. Currently, as Executive Vice President of Operations, his role is balanced among operations, logistics, internal, and external customer service. Behind every decision, Ralph leads and mentors, providing exceptional wisdom and credibility to our company and customers. In true leader fashion, a few years ago he moved his family to Alaska for two years to help lead and manage our Anchorage Alaska office, known as BiNW of Alaska. Ralph also cares deeply for his family. He’s been married for 29 years and has five children and three grandchildren. In his spare time, he loves sports, history, and working in his woodshop.

  • Jennifer Wasiczko

    Jenn started at Catalyst in 2013 and has become an irreplaceable member of the team ever since. She brings 23 years of experience in project management and real estate. Skilled at executing large, complex, and phased projects, no client or project is too much for her to handle. Jenn oversees and leads the core teams that provide our customers with modular walls design, project management, and installation. We all know her as the one to get things done. It is of no surprise that she has a real passion for motivating and leading high-performing teams. Don't get into a betting match with her regarding anything football-related as she is also very passionate about football. Just last year (2018), the Broncos were playing the Seahawks in Denver, and a few members of our leadership team members went to the game. Of the attendees, Jenn (Broncos fan for life) made a bet with Dave Masin (Seahawks fan), on who would win… well, Dave showed up to work the entire next week reluctantly wearing a Broncos jersey. But most of all, Jenn's real love is spending time in Roslyn where she lives.


  • Alysse Miller

    Alysse is an alumna of the University of Washington with a B.A. in Sociology and has worked with Catalyst since 2013. After working in several different Implementation roles, including Account Coordinator, Account Administrator, Project Manager, and Implementation Lead, Alysse utilized her strengths and passions to become Catalyst’s Training and Development Manager. She is responsible for the onboarding curriculum for new hires and creating training opportunities to support and expand Catalyst employees’ overall career growth and development. When she’s not enriching the minds of Catalyst employees, you may find Alysse attending a live concert or traveling the world!

  • Angie Moawad

    Angie knows her stuff and has a long-standing family history in the commercial office furniture industry. Angie first came to work for us back when we were known as Business Interiors Northwest. She held several roles over five years, including Account Coordinator, Inside Salesperson, Manager of Account Coordination, and Trainer. Her current role at Catalyst is to lead and manage one of our largest Implementation teams, which has a track record for high customer satisfaction and overall project success. She is a true Washington native and 3rd generation UW Husky (Go Dawgs!). Outside of work, she enjoys jogging and yoga, but her true passion and obsession is with the game of tennis. For the last 15 years, she's played Club tennis in several leagues, and she holds a National Championship for Men's & Women's mixed tennis.

  • Catherine Campbell

    Catherine graduated with honors from the University of Washington and found her career evolving as the world of technology evolved. She has been involved in Account Coordination, Procurement, and Herman Miller Performance System (HMPS) teams in the past and has a total of eight years, leading the IT efforts for Catalyst. She is highly active in IT Peer Groups across the Herman Miller Certified Dealer Network and is an outspoken advocate for process improvement and efficiency. Catherine is a supporter of public schools, child safety, and music education and spends most weekends devoted to youth soccer activities in the Pacific Northwest.

  • Cindy Chesbro

    Our Marketing Manager, Cindy Chesbro, has been with Catalyst for over 13 years. Her roles have encompassed IT and showroom responsibilities, including launching our Catalyst Loft space in Downtown Seattle. Although her roles have changed, you’ll find some of our Catalyst folks still call her for software issues, with which she’s happy to help. In her current role, Cindy manages a small team which implements our strategic marketing goals at Catalyst. Cindy is an alumna of WSU, with a BA in Management Information Systems. Her passions outside of the workplace include travel, camping, skiing, and cooking. She’s also always on the hunt for the next best restaurant/meal, and would be happy to recommend you her recent finds!

    Dave is a fourth-generation Seattle-lite, growing up on Mercer Island, and attending the University of Washington (according to Dave – the Harvard of the West). Dave is former President of Masin's Fine Furnishings & Interior Design in Bellevue, Washington, a family-owned retail furniture store and interior design firm. Dave has served on numerous boards and is an active volunteer. When he isn’t playing duck, duck goose with his two young children, Dave enjoys cooking, running, watching football (go Seahawks!), entertaining, and great wine.

    As Operations Manager for Catalyst Workplace Activation, Jay brings 29 years of experience in installation, reconfiguration, and relocation of office systems and casegoods furniture to his position. He works daily with the entire department to strive for excellence above and beyond that of industry standards. He directs his dedication towards the professional execution of complex projects. He is a leader in the community as well, spending much of his free time volunteering with several organizations for the benefit of at-risk youth and raising money for scholarship programs.

    Jenna's passion is coaching and developing her team to be top performers and enjoys ensuring the successful execution of our implementation process. She takes the time to listen and understand the needs of her team as well as our clients. Jenna has over nine years of experience in the commercial furniture industry and ten years of experience in retail customer service. A Washington native, she has called Catalyst her home for over eight years and has worked her way up through multiple roles to Implementation Manager. She even met her husband, Jake, a Sr. Project Manager at Catalyst, one of the many couples who are a part of our family.

  • Lorna Jackson

    An alumna of Central Washington University with a degree in Public Relations, Lorna has been with Catalyst since 2015 and has worked in the HR field for over 18 years. Before Catalyst, she had HR roles in a variety of industries, including non-profit, law, and technology. Lorna is passionate about human resources, with a focus on compliance and HR law, employee benefits, and employee relations. As a rewarding part of her role, Lorna enjoys being Co-captain for the annual United Way Day of Caring. In her time outside of Catalyst, she loves to travel (she taught school for a year in Tanzania), and is also a judge for 4-H cat shows. Most of all, Lorna loves taking care of Catalyst employees.

  • Mathew Marshall

    Mathew came to us from Chicago in 2012, where he graduated with honors from DePaul University’s School of Music. Starting his career as an Account Coordinator, he quickly learned the ins and outs of the furniture world and was often commended for his outstanding customer service. In 2014 he was selected to pioneer the new Implementation Lead role, which included building a team and establishing processes for a new major account. Mathew has now been leading teams for over five years and is known for both his positive, relaxed demeanor as well as turning around excellent work in a short amount of time. In his free time, you will find Mathew devouring literature of all genres, studying languages (Japanese is his current obsession), singing folk music, or attending a live show.

    Penny has been with Catalyst for over 25 years and has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. In her current role as Director of Customer Support, she is passionate about leading her team to provide the highest level of customer service to our customers. In her role, she ensures reliable quality of work, quick response times, and proactive communication to all of our customers. Penny strives to lead a team of professionals who are entering into the commercial furniture industry and building a strong foundation for growth and future leadership. Penny is a busy mom of teenagers and in her spare time, enjoys reading, singing, musical theater, and supporting her local sports teams.

  • Peter Handford

    As Manager of Architectural Walls, Peter brings 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including the last nine years in the installation and management of architectural wall projects. He oversees our internal architectural walls implementation team from the design phase through installation to ensure total project success for our customers. Peter grew up in New Zealand, playing rugby and surfing. He came to the US in 1991 where he traveled/worked throughout the states for three years until he met his wife in Tacoma and has lived happily here ever since.

  • Taylor Lee

    Taylor has been with Catalyst since 2017 when she migrated across the country from the Sunshine State. She brings a combined seven years of Dealer experience between her Designer and Design Manager roles held in Florida. At Catalyst, Taylor has worked with the University of Washington on several large projects and is now leading our design teams in Tukwila and Tacoma. She works closely with each designer, manufacturer representative, and sales leadership to ensure that we focus our design approach around the customer experience. One of Taylor's favorite hobbies is beating her husband at ping pong in their home game room.
