Harborview - Surgery Center
This new surgery check-in area at Harborview Medical Center was designed to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and providers. At the check-in stations, custom glass inserts were added to standard Herman Miller Canvas product, providing a bespoke look without increasing lead times and budget.
The overall waiting area gives visitors a comfortable and functional place to sit while waiting for their loved ones. A variety of seating options and communal tables include power options so that guests can charge electronics and stay connected while waiting. Surgery can be a stressful experience, but the Maleng Surgery Check-In & Waiting area helps relieve tension and worry for patients, friends, and family.
