Description

Conventional advice on how to best lead people rarely addresses gender differences. Yet the number of women in the workforce continues to increase. In order to maximize the engagement and retention of all employees, it’s important to understand how gender-based differences and blind spots influence the ways in which we show up at work.

People are often surprised to learn that the number one reason women leave companies is not that they want more work-life balance, but because they don’t feel valued. While men and women are equally capable as leaders, the brain science and data show that they tend to bring a unique set of strengths, perspectives, and priorities to the table, all of which results in them experiencing and evaluating the workplace very differently.

We invite you to attend this interactive workshop, where we’ll discuss cutting-edge research and practical strategies to help you become more gender intelligent--so you can unleash the full potential of your human talent.

Our featured speaker for this event is Mitch Shepard the founder of WiRL. Mitch helps enterprise companies leverage the full breadth of their talent by producing a transformational shift in gender and diversity intelligence within their organization.

Using her systems thinking background, in combination with her experiential education, Mitch works with companies to identify and solve their gender parity and diversity challenges. She has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and leader in the space of D&I, partnering with some of the world's top companies--such as Amazon, Microsoft, FedEx, BDO and Avis Budget Group-- to efficiently move the dial on their D&I initiatives.

This event is 90-minutes in length and includes breakfast, presentation, and discussion. Please RSVP below; the event is limited to 40 attendees. We look forward to seeing you.
