Date: Friday, June 28, 2017 | Time: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm | The Catalyst Loft: 701 Pike St, Suite 2125 Seattle, WA 98101
Description
Work and the workplace are changing. As millennials continue to be incorporated into the workforce, and organizations are adjusting the expectations and values of the millennial generation, very soon will be the arrival of another large generation, Gen Z. Organizations will soon be confronted by a host of new cultural and societal factors that will shape the future of work even more. For example, the current issues of flexibility, the democratization of space, need for collaboration, innovation, and rise of conceptual/idea based work are at the forefront of our imagination. In the near future, the continued push of technology, automation, and conceptual work means that the workplace, and what constitutes work, will continue to shift. Join us for a fun exploration of what the workplace of the future may look like and the forces that are shaping it.
The featured speakers for this event are Richard Beaton, Ph.D. (Director of Work Sociology) from Marigold Associates.
