This new surgery check-in area at Harborview Medical Center was designed to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and providers. At the check-in stations, custom glass inserts were added to standard Herman Miller Canvas product, providing a bespoke look without increasing lead times and budget.
The Harborview Hideaway represents a fresh addition to Harborview Medical Center, serving as a dedicated staff break area. In 2022, Mary Pigott's generous donation to Harborview paved the way for creating a space to bolster staff resilience. With inclusivity in mind, Harborview sought a location that was accessible to all staff and capable of accommodating various activities, from relaxation to reading, away from the clinical setting.
Central Pierce Fire and Rescue embarked on a relocation process to move their administrative offices to the South Hill Business & Technology Center in Puyallup, WA. The client was looking for design, space planning, and furniture expertise but had a tight timeline they needed to hit. The Catalyst team worked closely with Marshall Design + Management to identify and curate quality furniture selections while leveraging GPO Contracts (Group Purchasing Organizations) to get the best price and value for all involved.
Seward Hall is a dorm in the "South Quad" group of residence halls. The Catalyst team was brought on to help update the dorms and provide new furnishings. We worked on the common areas to give students a place to relax outside of their rooms, study and gather socially.

The Catalyst team successfully curated and sourced furnishings that helped achieve these objectives while preserving the breathtaking sightlines.
T-Mobile's final building of their 1,000,000 square foot Bellevue headquarters renovation has been completed. Catalyst worked alongside Gensler to help create a space that reflects the global telecommunications provider's unique brand and culture. The key design priorities for this project were to increase connections and build flexibility into the space. There was also a large focus on DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), amenities, and health and wellness.
The T-Mobile Herndon project is an expansive renovation encompassing six floors and 163,000 square feet, housing T-Mobile's largest Field Office. With a focus on modernization and employee satisfaction, the project relocated 750 associates to a dynamic, forward-thinking workspace. Designed to reflect T-Mobile's Un-carrier spirit, the renovated space features contemporary furniture and eco-friendly practices, fostering collaboration and innovation.

This local client's goals were to create a campus renewal that seamlessly refreshes, revitalizes, and forges a deeper connection to the workplace by integrating nature, abundant light, and organic materials. We worked with them and their design team to harmoniously merge these goals to inspire creativity and focus with simplified, beautiful design.
The new city operations building provides a home base for the Parks and Public Works Operations Teams. These teams have never been able to fit into one space previously. Teamwork and collaboration are core organizational values for the city, and this space allows these teams to leverage knowledge and expertise between departments. This project was a necessary upgrade to best support the work of these teams, providing essential services for the residents of Bellingham.
Catalyst partnered with Ferguson Architects to renovate historic Cheney Stadium’s Summit Club ahead of the 2022 Rainiers baseball season. The 4,000 sq. ft. club offers members a premium viewing and dining experience.
Station Square is a three-story state-of-the-art medical office building housing urgent care and family medicine. Catalyst provided height-adjustable workstations, including task stools, monitor arms, CPU holders, filing, and storage cabinets. We provided lobby furniture in both standard, bariatric, and hip height, along with patient room guest seating.
Lakehaven's new 41,000 sqft headquarters is located in Federal Way, WA. With an increase in size, the new facility design will bring more staff to a central location, enabling them to conduct business more efficiently. Our Catalyst Team worked closely with Helix Design Group on a furniture package that beautifully supports this new space.
Heartland is a full-range real estate advisory service providing asset management, development strategies, transaction services, and investment consultation to a full spectrum of customers in all different economic sectors. Their new space in the Norton Building in Downtown Seattle boasts beautiful waterfront and city views. Catalyst worked with JPC Architects to bring a warm and inviting palette using a mix of different manufacturers for the workstation and conferencing areas.
Catalyst worked with BCRA Design to re-think how this Issaquah-based apparel company could utilize its existing space to create more collaboration areas on the 2nd floor of its HQ. The existing space was an open office with a sea of high-walled workstations, which not only inhibited collaboration for work on special projects but also blocked the beautiful views of the mountainous terrain and lush green hills surrounding them.
The Active Learning Classroom utilizes technology in a way that makes learning in a group setting easier than ever. Catalyst provided the conference tables and seating for this innovative space.
Cirrus10 wanted to reinvent the typical 'type A' corporate business office with a professional, contemporary office for their new Seattle high-rise office. We worked with Broderick Architects using Watson furniture (miro desking and storage) into a functionally and visually stimulating space that reflects their forward-thinking e-commerce consulting business.

Lincoln High School, in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, was unoccupied for 16 years until 1997, when Seattle Public Schools (SPS) began to utilize it as a swing site for various elementary, middle, and high schools in construction. In response to the district’s need to accommodate growth in 2019, Bassetti Architects and Catalyst were commissioned to restore this designated Seattle landmark to a viable, 21st-century learning facility while celebrating its 20th-century roots.
