Alaska Airlines - Global Training Center
Alaska Airlines’ Global Training Center project transformed a former Boeing facility in Renton, Washington, into a world-class centralized training hub designed to support the airline’s growing operations and workforce.
The renovated campus brings together training programs for pilots, flight attendants, customer service agents, and operational teams into a single collaborative environment focused on innovation, flexibility, and employee experience.
Catalyst partnered with Alaska Airlines to provide furniture solutions throughout the facility, supporting both standard office and ancillary environments across the large-scale redevelopment project. Services included furniture design, budgeting, specification development, procurement management, and coordination with project stakeholders and installation teams throughout the phased implementation.
The project included a wide variety of workplace and training environments designed to support modern learning and collaboration, including workstations, private offices, conference rooms, training classrooms, collaborative spaces, and employee gathering areas. Given the scale and complexity of the project, Catalyst worked closely with Alaska Airlines, Seneca Group, NBBJ, and Reliant Group to support evolving project needs, maintain alignment across teams, and help deliver a cohesive workplace experience throughout the facility.
The Global Training Center project reflects Alaska Airlines’ investment in the future of employee training and workplace experience, creating a flexible, future-ready environment that supports operational excellence while reinforcing the airline’s people-first culture.
